Rabbi Fred Davidow was ordained at Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1973. He is an accomplished speaker and storyteller. Rabbi Davidow was drawn to the rabbinate by his passion for learning and teaching. He has had numerous sermons, essays, poems and articles published in peer-reviewed journals. Besides his Master’s degrees in Education and Rabbinics, Rabbi Davidow earned an Advanced Certificate in Clinical Pastoral Education. Most of his career was spent as a congregational rabbi. He currently serves as the Jewish Chaplain at Glendale Uptown Home in northeast Philadelphia.
