On the July 7 edition of Boomer Generation Radio, Dr. Jessica Israel, a gerontologist with Barnabas Health’s Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ joins David Friedman, who served as marketing director and CEO of Progressive Health Care Services, a skilled home health care agency. He currently operates Friedman Marketing Communications, specializing in health care marketing.
In the second half of the program, Rabbi Address chats with Bryan Gruley of Bloomberg News, who has written extensively about sexuality among the older population and in nursing homes, including the case of a Midwestern husband of an Alzheimer’s patient who was charged with rape after having sex with his wife in a nursing home.
Boomer Generation Radio is sponsored in part by Kendal Corporation, a Quaker-based provider of continuing care retirement communities in the Northeast and Midwest, airs on WWDB-AM 860 every Tuesday at 10 a.m., and features news and conversation aimed at Baby Boomers and the issues facing them as members of what Rabbi Address calls “the club sandwich generation.” You can hear the show live on AM 860, or streamed live from the WWDB website.
