Among baby boomers and their parents there is, perhaps, no subject that garners more discussion and often agreement than that of health and wellness. Older adults seem to be the healthiest that have ever lived (thanks in great part to medical technology) and the boomers seem to be quite knowledgeable about accessing the ever expanding field of health related issues, from supplements to yoga to massage therapy and more. Thirty some years ago these generations may have been “at war” over such issues as Viet-Nam, Watergate, music, hair, civil rights and social justice. Now, more often than not, these generations are united in issues surrounding health care, care-giving and entitlement programs like Medicare and Social Security.

We’ll be looking at a variety of issues that touch on the issues of Health and Wellness in future pages of jewishsacredaging.
