We’re all aging — and if we live long enough, most of us will need some help. But who will provide the care we’ll need?
Care pulls back the curtain on the poignant and largely hidden world of in-home care. Beautifully shot and deeply moving, the film reveals the intimate bonds that form between home care workers and care consumers—and exposes the cracks in a system that is poorly serving both.
This powerful film will be screened at a special Philadelphia Premiere Thursday, August 24 at 6:30 p.m. at WHYY in Philadelphia. After the film, Dr. Dan Gottlieb will lead a discussion that includes filmmaker Tony Heriza and others.
