Terri Clark

Terri Clark has been doing work in health education, training, and facilitation for nearly 25 years, and is currently the Coordinator of Prevention Services at ActionAIDS in Philadelphia, PA. Terri is a member of Widener University’s Consortium on Sexuality and Aging, and an adjunct instructor at Arcadia University. She is a certified trainer with the National Resource Center on LGBT Aging and serves on the American Society on Aging’s Leadership Council of their LGBT Aging Issues Network (LAIN) constituent group. She is also an advisory board member of Philadelphia Corporation for Aging’s PrimeTime Health Committee. Throughout her career in public health, she has been an advocate for gender equality and sexual health across the lifecycle.
Prior to relocating to Philadelphia from New York City, she was involved with many LGBT programs, including the creation of a Safe Zones Program at NYC College of Technology and worked as a consultant trainer with the NYC LGBT Center, where she delivered cultural competency trainings to staff and students of the NYC school district. Terri has worked with Allegheny College (Meadville, PA) to help establish a safe zone program on their campus.
As a consultant trainer with Cicatelli Associates, Inc., she delivered trainings for the AIDS Institute, CAP-C, AETC, and several other initiatives spearheaded by CAI, as well as serving as a NATISHE (North Atlantic Training Institute for Sexual Health Educators) core staff member. She has been an adjunct instructor, teaching public/community health and human services courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels for over 15 years.
Terri is a Certified Health Education Specialist, and graduate of Hunter College with a Masters in Public Health, Community Health Education. She received her B.A. in Sociology and Communication from the University of Buffalo.
