Tobi Schwartz-Cassell has been writing professionally for over three decades in both the print and broadcast media.

She established The Word Source, LLC in 2003, for which she specializes in strategic advertising, marketing and public relations campaigns, on a freelance basis.

While operating The Word Source, she founded Girlfriendz Magazine. Its debut issue was released in September 2007. The National Association of Baby Boomer Women has called Girlfriendz the nation’s only regional magazine devoted solely to Baby Boomer Women.

As the creative force behind Girlfriendz, Tobi writes and edits content, generates article ideas; plans, promotes and produces events and appearances, creates and runs the logistics of contests, and performs marketing and public relations for the company. She is also a public speaker on topics of inspiration to women.

Boomer Generation Radio airs on WWDB-AM 860 every Tuesday at 10 a.m., and features news and conversation aimed at Baby Boomers and the issues facing them as members of what Rabbi Address calls “the club sandwich generation.”

You also can hear the show live on AM 860, or streamed live from the WWDB website.
