Rachel Beck, who writes under the pen name V. Lakshmi, is an international award-winning photographer. Rachel has owned and run RachelBeckPhotos.com, a photography business in the Midwestern United States, for eight years and counting. Through her camera lens, she has developed a unique perspective and now weaves her vision into words. She holds a BA in General Studies with Minors in Psychology and Gender Studies and has one goal: that her stories of triumph through tragedy inspire as many as possible before she leaves the planet.
