Seekers of Meaning 6/30/2023: Chelsea Duckers, End of Life Doula and Care Coordinator, Rothkoff Law

Chelsea Duckers, BSW, CSW, CECC

Chelsea Duckers joined Rothkoff Law Group in 2018 as a Geriatric Care Coordinator with four years of experience as a social worker in Atlantic and Camden County, New Jersey.

Chelsea worked as the Director of Social Services in a sub-acute rehabilitation and long-term care facility. She worked directly with residents and their family members as an advocate to ensure they were receiving the highest level of care and dignity while connecting them with resources available to the aging population.

Chelsea received her bachelors’ degree from Stockton University in Social Work. While at Stockton University, Chelsea completed two field study internships, one with an acute rehabilitation facility and the other at a long-term care/ sub-acute facility. It was during her field studies that she recognized her passion for working with the elderly population, and she was hired out of her senior year internship upon graduation.

Since joining the Rothkoff Law Group, Chelsea has become a “Certified Elder Care Coordinator” through Stockton University’s Center on Successful Aging and is a certified End of Life Doula.

Chelsea is originally from Sussex County, NJ, and now lives in Mount Laurel, NJ, with her husband, Ryan. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family. She is a proud dog mom to her rescue pup, Fozzie.
